Hi there, I’m Lyndsey
My therapeutic passion is rooted in the world of first responders, PTSD and chronic illnesses. Becoming a first responder therapist has come from personal and professional relationships with military, police and firefighters and has brought me a deeper understanding and care for this population.
My style derives from a solution-focused approach, rooted in mutual understanding and confidence building. I often use psychoeducation and humor in session to build a trusting foundation in the therapeutic setting.
I have a background in vocational rehabilitation, crisis counseling and art therapy, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation & Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University & a Bachelor’s degree in Art Therapy & Ceramics from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
