Hi there, I’m Lauren

People deserve to feel seen and have space to show up as their most authentic selves. In my therapeutic approach, I prioritize building a safe, compassionate, and honest environment to empower clients to build momentum for personal change and growth, foster resiliency, and utilize practical tools to navigate trauma and stressors in daily living.

My experience is heavily based on chronic illness, disability, PTSD, elite performers (college and semi-professional athletes), queer folks and communities, veterans, active-duty military, and first responders. I have a background in vocational rehabilitation, mental performance counseling, and crisis counseling. I graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation & Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA) and a Master’s in Sport & Human Performance (MS) from Adler University & and a Bachelor’s in Psychology (BS) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

I am actively working towards my certification in First Responder Counseling (CFRC) and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing/ Critical Incident Stress Management (CISD/CISM).
